Project objective:

1. Automatic weighing of packages moving along the conveyor;
2. Automatically scan the barcode on packaging;
3. Link the measured weight of the package to the specific barcode of the package and send this data to the accounting system

The barcode scanning is performed using Datalogic Matrix 300N high-performance industrial scanners connected to a synchronised ID-net network. The system scans a barcode in one of five planes and sends this signal to the weighing system. The barcode is linked to the product’s weight and sent to a common database for further accounting.
