Datalogic AXIOM is an industrial linear laser barcode reader designed for use in applications requiring reliable 1D code scanning from a greater distance. The device uses a laser reading unit and features a very high scanning speed, making it suitable for automated lines, conveyors, and other intensive industrial processes.

Several interfaces are provided for integration into industrial infrastructure – RS485 (IBM 46xx), RS232, and Ethernet – making AXIOM easily adaptable to both older and newer systems. The operating environment parameters (0–50 °C, up to 90% humidity without condensation) and IP65 protection indicate that the device is designed for use in more challenging conditions.
