The SMR-100 / SMR-350 is a slitter/rewinder solution with waste matrix removal for efficient post-processing of pre-die-cut labels. The main advantage is the ability to work comfortably with full bleed designs: you can safely go beyond the cut of the label when printing, and the waste matrix is removed after printing, thus reducing the risk of ink transfer or smearing.

The unit can be used in several modes: slitting only or matrix removal without slitting, depending on the job. Media up to 225 mm wide, rolls up to 250 mm diameter on a 3″ core are supported, and precision slitting allows the formation of narrow final rolls (up to ~22 mm wide), which is particularly relevant for small labels (e.g. cosmetics, health & beauty etc.).
