Project objective:
1. Automatic weighing of conveyorised packages;
2. Automatically scan the barcode on packages;
3. Link the measured package weight to the specific package barcode and send this data to the accounting system
The barcode scanning is performed using Datalogic Matrix 300N high-performance industrial scanners connected to a synchronised ID-net network. The system scans a barcode in one of five planes and sends this signal to the weighing system. The barcode is linked to the product’s weight and sent to a common database for further accounting.
Automatic scanning of the bands. The barcodes of the banded items are entered into a database and a report is automatically generated.
Scanning speeds of 1,000 banderolets with Datamatrix and PDF417 barcodes in 1-2 minutes.
